‘I’m not a racist’: ‘I hate white people’

A Florida man was shocked to learn that he was the target of a racist slur during a barbershop visit.

The man told local news station WKMG that he noticed a man sitting behind him on the floor, “with his legs up, and he was saying, ‘What the f— is that?'”

The man said that the man then started shouting, “What the fuck is this f—ing race?”

The man then noticed that someone was wearing a shirt that read, “Racism is not cool.”

The man asked the man to get off the floor and left the barbershops, according to WKGM.

“I asked him to get on the phone with his wife and I was like, ‘You gotta stop saying that,'” the man said.

“He said, ‘I don’t want to.'”

The man continued to get frustrated and called police, who responded.

The victim told police that he had been verbally assaulted and called a racial slur.

Police charged the man with battery and released him from jail.
